Paola De La Cruz, a second-generation Dominican artist and community organizer navigates the intersection of art, advocacy and lived experiences. Her work interweaves digital and analog media to confront cultural identities and communal healing.

Central to Paola’s artistic ethos is a commitment to mutual aid and resource redistribution, guiding her practice towards community engaged public art. Paola creates as a testament to resilience, drawing inspiration from her lived experiences in homelessness, queerness and migration.

Paola is also one half of the artist team Que Lo Gi - this collective is renowned for its socially engaged art through the commitment of bringing individual stories into the fabric of communal experiences, resonating across Black and Brown local communities. Through both, Que Lo Gi and her individual work, Paola expands her artistic reach, amplifying voices while fostering connections that transcend beyond the confines of traditional art practices.
